WFMW: Living by Faith

I've sat here and pondered what "works for my me" for quite a while now, as I sift through the bleak update on our financial struggles from Super Dad. As I try to sort through our days trying to come up with a post for the day, I am brought back to our current situation and I wonder if anything works for me? Then, I am hit with the realization that "all things work for good" according to my God. I know that He tests us. Do I think this is from Him? I don't know, but I do know we will pass this one through our trust in Him.

The only thing I can guarantee "works for me" on this Wednesday (and every day of my life) is my faith in Him and trusting in God to carry us through every trial, every situation. I know that as I study His Word and work towards an even better relationship with Christ, only He can handle the stress and burdens I carry. I have to give them up to Him and believe through faith that He will take care of it and He will tell me what to do.
I love you, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies.
- Psalm 18: 1-3

I realize this may be a bit "out of the box" on WFMW ... but, as I mentioned before, it is all that I feel working for me at this moment as I try to hold things together.

I am very impressed with your faith and your ability to keep strong. I know it must be incredibly scary to raise a family with such limited finances.

I think this is a perfect example of a WFMW! I totally agree with what you said too. Having faith in the Lord is more important than anything.

This is the best WFMW that I have yet to read. May God continue to bless you family during your times of trouble.
