Thursday Thirteen: Me

Thirteen Things about Me, in general 1 - I have MAJOR social anxieties! I don't like leaving the house, talking on the phone, etc. My only "safe refuge" is church and family member's homes. 2 - I HATE the cold! And our in our new home, our master bedroom has two windows facing the north, and the wind seems to pour in the cracks! It's always freezing in here! Time to weatherize!! 3 - I LOVE both Christ and my family more than anything else in this world. 4 - I enjoy reading, but don't get to do much of it ... other than other's blogs! :) 5 - I much prefer a nice, hot bath over a shower any day. I wish "Calgon" could really take me away sometimes! 6 - I DREAM of a nice romantic vacation in the Poconos with my husband. I've wanted to go since we were married 12 1/2 years ago and have still not made it up there! (I don't care if it's cold there, I don't plan on leaving the room anyways)! 7 - I also dream of a family vacation to Walt Disney World. My husband and I have both never been ... and I know my kids would really enjoy it! 8 - I have night blindness when driving ... most likely because I don't wear my glasses at all during the day! Don't worry though, it's a great excuse to keep me home and out from behind the wheel! 9 - I DETEST any sort of lotion, body spray, perfume, etc. Anything that makes me smell "girly." Besides, I have broken out once or twice in hives from these things, and certain smells make my throat close up! 10 - I am a TOMBOY through and through! Never wear make-up. Do not carry purses. Never owned a pair of heels. Dresses for "special occasions" only! Wore boots under my wedding gown! : ) 11 - I LOVE sports. Playing is cool ... but at my age I get to watch mostly. NFL, NHL, MLB, Nascar ... all sorts. Makes getting along with my hubby easier! ;) 12 - I am OBSESSED with all things "techie." My computer is my best friend some days! 13 - I am FIRST and FOREMOST a devoted wife to my hubby and loving mom to my 4 children! (I simply saved the best for last)!
