{Review} - Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Product: Wal-Born Plus

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

PharmacistI don't know about you, but I am not one to take medicine when I get sick. I mean, I really do not like medicines of any sort. Now, a migraine or tooth ache I will take medicine for because those types of pain are of the devil and the worse kind! OMGoodness! Otherwise, I do not take medicine until SuperDad forces it down my throat! But, recently when some sort of virus was flying through my kids one by one my mom suggested I try Walgreens Wal-Born Plus Probiotic. Fortunately, I had learned all about probiotics at a past MOPS meeting so I at least knew what they were.

I had never tried the Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Products but my mom swears by anything Walgreens puts out... and you have to listen to your mom, right?! So, she actually gave me some she had and SuperDad and I got started on them. You simply drop one tablet in a full glass of water up to 3 hours a day and drink it down. Being afraid of trying new things, I had to just go for it! And it actually wasn't that bad. It didn't really taste too much like a medicine at all. Whew! Otherwise I would have stopped right there!

And the price? Around $6 for 10 tablets compared to the $23 I spend on the probiotics I buy the girls. Not bad for keeping the illness away! And, yes, by the way, it worked! SuperDad and I stayed virus free. It has 1000mg of Vitamin C! Wow! That is 1667% of your daily value. There are other ingredients too of course, but Vitamin C is always our first line of defense when illness arrives. With a family of seven we have to stop everything from going round and round and try to contain it as best as possible!

Plus, with a purchase of every Walgreens Brand Health & Wellness Product supports bringing preventive wellness services to local communities through the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™. Walgreens will contribute up to $3 million annually to the Walgreens Way to Well Fund™. Some of those services will include preventive health tests through the National Urban League Health & Wellness Tour and vouchers redeemable in select stores.
